Waldman’s Crown Hotel in Miami Beach began life in 1940 as the Lord Tarleton Hotel and was reborn under the Waldman family name as a kosher friendly destination on Collins Avenue. It rose fourteen stories above the shore and was refreshed in 1955 under new leadership to continue welcoming guests from across the globe well into the late twentieth century.
