In 1980, the Shenandoah Hotel opened its doors on Flamingo Road, backed by none other than Wayne Newton. In 1985, it was rebranded as the Bourbon Street Hotel and Casino, adopting a New Orleans theme. Despite these efforts, the casino closed in 2005 and was demolished in 2006, leaving behind a legacy of ambition and transformation. Part of our vintage Las Vegas throwback series.
