The San Jose Prune Pickers were a minor league baseball team based in San Jose, California, active intermittently from 1898 to 1915. They competed in leagues such as the California League and the California State League. The team earned its unique nickname from the region's prominent prune industry. In 1904, the Prune Pickers clinched the California State League championship. Despite their eventual dissolution, the Prune Pickers remain a notable part of San Jose's rich baseball history.
