Opened in the early 1960s on Main Street, Kona Hawaii was a sprawling Polynesian restaurant and lounge known for its dramatic tiki architecture, tropical cocktails, and live island entertainment. It became a favorite Orange County hotspot before closing in the mid 1970s, leaving behind only memories and collectible mugs.
