Hurricane Cove opened in the late 1930s on Catalina Island, offering visitors a tropical themed escape with rum heavy drinks, ocean views, and nautical tiki decor. Tucked along the Avalon waterfront, it served up island vibes just off the California coast before disappearing by the early 1960s.
