Hawaiian Isle Resort Motel on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach opened in 1952 with a second wing added in 1954 and offered a tropical escape with fresh and saltwater pools kiddie pools a 500 foot private beach nightly dancing and floor shows in the tiki night club the exotic bamboo room an outrigger bar oceanfront dining in the aloha dining room and highly stylized tiki decor. It captured that tiki bar energy of mid century Florida before closing and making way for the Pinnacle condominium. This retro vintage design was inspired by the vintage tiki bars of yesteryear.
