Chi‑Chi Club – California (Palm Springs flagship & sister supper clubs) The original Chi‑Chi Club opened in 1935 in Palm Springs (revamped to full tiki‑style by 1938), quickly becoming the “Showplace of the Stars” with live entertainment and tropical glamour. Additional locations followed in Riverside, Hollywood, Long Beach, and San Diego, with the San Diego branch operating from 1946 to 1951. The Palm Springs flagship lasted until 1977, when it was torn down and replaced by a shopping center. This design is inspired by vintage defunct tiki and Polynesian inspired establishments of yesteryear. Printed on our super soft 3/4 sleeve baseball style raglan T-Shirt.
