Description

The Bakersfield Bees were a short-lived minor league baseball team based in Bakersfield, California, participating in the Class D California State League during the 1929 season. Managed by Louis Guisto and Ned Porter, the Bees played their home games at Recreation Park and achieved a 32–28 record, placing them second in the league standings before the league folded mid-season on June 17, 1929. Notably, player Lou Martin led the league with a .389 batting average, and player-manager Ned Porter topped the league with 15 home runs. Despite their brief existence, the Bakersfield Bees remain a part of California's rich baseball history. This design is part of our vintage retro collection, celebrating the defunct golden era baseball teams of yesteryear. Printed on our super soft 3/4 sleeve baseball style raglan T-Shirt. We print & ship all of our high quality graphic tees in the USA.
